Sui's Hashi Testnet Goes Live as Remittix PayFi Trial Gains Momentum

Sui's Hashi testnet is live, allowing institutions and builders to experiment with Bitcoin-backed financial applications. The design aims to use native BTC as programmable collateral for lending, borrowing, and other activities.

The current milestone marks a further step towards production, where the full potential of Bitcoin collateral can be unlocked on the Sui network.

Investors are watching whether Hashi attracts usable integrations and deposits beyond the initial test. A successful route from experimentation to production would give SUI another visible reason for users and institutions to choose its chain.

Meanwhile, Remittix is testing a different approach to put digital assets to work through its PayFi trial. One thousand existing RTX holders have been invited to try early EUR and USD crypto-to-bank payment options.
