Superheat Unveils World's First Bitcoin-Mining Water Heater

A new home appliance, the Superheat H1C, has been announced by Superheat. This is the world's first computing-powered water heater that allows homeowners to generate Bitcoin while producing hot water.

The traditional electric water heater consumes around 18% of household electricity use and simply converts it into heat, which is then lost. The Superheat H1C, on the other hand, uses computational work to capture more than 99% of the heat naturally generated during this process for household hot water.

This means that homeowners can now offset part of their everyday energy cost by generating Bitcoin instead of simply paying to heat water.

The Superheat H1C was designed as a premium home appliance with whisper-quiet operation, plug-and-play installation and maintenance, and a smart mobile app for monitoring water temperature, energy usage, and Bitcoin production.
