The Supertrend indicator has flashed a buy signal for Bitcoin, sparking hopes of another massive price rally. According to Rand Group, this is the second time the indicator has turned green in recent years, with the last occurrence preceding a 700% rise in Bitcoin's value from around $16,000.

In early 2023, when Bitcoin was trading at approximately $16,000, the Supertrend first flashed a buy signal. Over the next three years, Bitcoin surged to over $100,000 by December 2024 and peaked at around $120,000 in October 2025.

However, the indicator has now turned green again, with Bitcoin trading at around $84,000. This latest signal suggests that the trend may be shifting upward once more after a recent decline.

CryptoQuant founder Ki Young Ju noted that Bitcoin's move above its 365-day moving average, which is approximately $83,000, was a significant indicator of a potential end to the bear market and resumption of institutional buying.
