Sweat Wallet and SWEAT Token to End Current Form by December 30, 2026

The Sweat Foundation Ltd announced that its current model for Sweat Wallet and the SWEAT token will end on December 30, 2026. This decision comes after a prolonged downturn in crypto markets, the loss of exchange listings for SWEAT, and the significant cost of a security incident in April 2026.

The team had come close to achieving sustainable profitability but ultimately decided to end the current model in an orderly way with 90 days' notice. This allows users and token holders time to act and prepare for the changes ahead.

The SWEAT token will continue to exist on NEAR and EVM chains, where it is bridged, but its current form as a reward for verified physical movement will cease. Users are advised to claim their earned SWEAT, withdraw from Grow Jars, and move any balances off the app before December 30.

The Sweat Foundation is recommending that users complete these steps by December 18, 2026. After this date, the app and its services will end in their current form, but some aspects of the token's existence may persist on other blockchain platforms.
