Swell 2026 to Focus on Institutional XRP ETF Demand
Ripple has announced that the first year of spot XRP ETFs will be a major topic of discussion at Swell 2026, the company's annual conference for institutional investors and financial professionals. The event, which will take place in New York, is expected to attract around 1,500 participants and will feature a range of speakers from the financial industry, including executives from Intercontinental Exchange.
The inclusion of spot XRP ETFs as a key topic at Swell 2026 is significant, given that the product is still a relatively new development in the financial industry. In the first year since the launch of regulated XRP ETFs, cumulative ETF inflows have reached around $1.7 billion, despite XRP's price remaining below its all-time high.
The SEC's recent approval of a post-effective amendment for the Bitwise XRP ETF has also contributed to the growing interest in XRP ETFs, with the product ecosystem continuing to evolve rather than settling into a steady state. The discussion of XRP ETFs at Swell 2026 will take place alongside other topics related to digital assets, including tokenized collateral and bank-grade crypto infrastructure.
The inclusion of XRP ETFs in the discussion of institutional allocation is notable, given that ETF demand has often diverged from XRP's spot price. In late August, XRP ETFs recorded their strongest week of 2026 with $110.49 million of inflows, while XRP itself was falling.
