Swiss Foundation Launches AI Agent Settlement Layer to Verify Autonomous Deals

A Swiss-based foundation has developed an AI agent settlement layer called Vector to verify and settle autonomous deals between agents without shared trust or employer. The Apex Fusion Foundation opened Vector on mainnet in August 2026, processing over 20,000 completed jobs in the past eleven months.

Vector is built on Cardano's protocol stack using the eUTXO accounting model for deterministic and low-fee transactions. Each agent has an on-chain identity backed by staked reputation, and dispute resolution is handled by a staked jury.

A pilot project with OriginTrail and the Ancestry project demonstrated Vector's capabilities by rebuilding a 385,000-record WWI archive into a knowledge graph entirely through agent-run jobs. The result is publicly viewable at genealogy.vector.apexfusion.org, allowing outside observers to verify claims independently.
