Switchboard Support Ends, Leaving Solana Price Feeds in Limbo

Solana's price feeds are facing uncertainty as Switchboard, a key oracle provider, ends its technical support today. The move has left many applications reliant on Switchboard's data to verify their prices.

Jito's Tip Router documentation still lists Switchboard as a pricing source for vault weights, despite the project's September 19 wind-down announcement.

Marginfi, another Solana application, has implemented new oracle setups that do not depend on Switchboard. However, its documentation reveals a potential issue: older software versions cannot decode newer oracle enum values, which could prevent Project0Client.initialize and bank reads.
