Tap Global Buys Three Bitcoins for Digital Asset Income Strategy
Tap Global Group plc has begun implementing its Digital Asset Income Strategy by purchasing three Bitcoins for a total of £189,395. The company acquired the cryptocurrency at an average price of £63,132 per coin, which is approximately 34% below Bitcoin's all-time high of around $126,000.
The purchase represents the first acquisition under Tap Global's Digital Asset Income Strategy, announced on August 25, 2026. The company stated that the reserve holdings will be kept separate from digital assets used in day-to-day operations and deployed through its Tap Earn program.
Tap Earn has accumulated approximately $8 million in customer assets and generated $141,000 in revenue since its launch in May 2026. The program offers returns of up to 8% annualized on supported stablecoins, 3.5% on Ethereum, and 2.5% on Bitcoin.
According to Tap Global's CEO, Arsen Torosian, 'Following our first raise, today we commence our Digital Asset Income Strategy with its first Bitcoin purchase... We are buying roughly a third below the peak, with our own trading desk, on our own platform, and we will deploy it on the same yield engine that pays our customers weekly.'
