Tap Global Purchases Bitcoin at 34% Below All-Time High for Digital Asset Income Strategy
Tap Global Group plc has made its first move in implementing its Digital Asset Income Strategy by purchasing three Bitcoin at an average price of £63,132 per coin. The total cost was £189,395, representing a purchase at approximately 34% below the cryptocurrency's all-time high of around $126,000.
The company says it will keep these reserve holdings separate from digital assets used in day-to-day operations and deploy them through its Tap Earn program. This program has already accumulated approximately $8 million in customer assets and generated $141,000 in revenue since its launch in May 2026.
'Following our first raise, today we commence our Digital Asset Income Strategy with its first Bitcoin purchase,' said Arsen Torosian, Chief Executive Officer. 'We are buying roughly a third below the peak, with our own trading desk, on our own platform, and we will deploy it on the same yield engine that pays our customers weekly.'
The company operates a crypto-fintech platform with more than 400,000 customers and will provide updates on the reserve holdings and performance in the future.
