Tapiero Sees BTC Reaching $20 Trillion by 2035
Dan Tapiero, founder and CEO of 1Roundtable Partners (1RT) and 10T Holdings, has made a bold prediction about the future value of Bitcoin. He estimates that its market capitalization could reach $20 trillion by 2035, ten times its current level.
This projection is part of a broader digital ecosystem forecast, which includes Ethereum and Solana with a combined market capitalization between $2 and $10 billion, and industry companies with $20 trillion in digital assets distributed between public and private companies. Tapiero's updated target is $50 trillion for the crypto market.
Tapiero believes that the crypto market has already hit its bottom based on several macroeconomic signals, including the Treasury bond buyback program introduced by Scott Bessent, which he describes as a soft form of quantitative easing. He also sees potential in agent-based finance and AI-related transactions, which could create new demand for blockchain infrastructure.
The fund has committed $40 million to an undisclosed company developing wallet infrastructure for AI agents, and its main holdings include Kraken and Ledger. Tapiero's projection places BTC at the heart of the market, and his $20 trillion target by 2035 will depend on the evolution of this ecosystem.
