Tapiero Sees New Bitcoin Base Forming Amid Dollar-Yen Volatility
Macro investor Dan Tapiero believes Bitcoin has already bottomed out and will not revisit its previous lows.
Tapiero attributed this to a coordinated U.S.-Japan intervention in the dollar-yen exchange rate, which started moving at around 162 to 163.
This move is expected to have another 10% of downside still ahead for dollar-yen, which historically moves inversely with gold and Bitcoin.
Tapiero pointed out that a convergence of catalysts raised the floor on the same day, including Treasury intervention, Trump's public support for Hyperliquid Strategies, and simultaneous supportive regulatory signals from the SEC and CFTC.
