Tassat Moves Lynq to Permissioned Avalanche L1 for Institutional Settlement
Tassat Group has moved its Lynq institutional settlement network to a permissioned Avalanche L1, giving financial institutions more control over validator participation and data access.
The migration, completed on April 29, 2026, allows Lynq to operate as a dedicated network within the broader Avalanche ecosystem. Over 30 digital-asset institutions, including B2C2, Crypto.com, FalconX, Fireblocks, Galaxy, and Wintermute, have been onboarded to the network.
Tassat's underlying infrastructure had processed over $2.5 trillion in transactions as of April 29, 2026. The permissioned environment also preserves existing positions, integrations, and operational workflows while moving the network onto its own Avalanche-based infrastructure.
Avalanche L1 allows for dedicated governance over validators, configuration, and data access, which is crucial for financial institutions that require predictable processing and restricted access to transaction data. Lynq's infrastructure uses Tassat's patented Yield-in-Transit technology, enabling assets to accrue and distribute interest on-chain down to the block while remaining available for settlement.
