Tate's HYPE Bet Pays Off with 1,317% Return
Andrew Tate, a notable figure in the crypto space, has made significant gains on the HYPE token. According to Lookonchain, Tate's wallet sent 20,950 HYPE worth $1.87 million to Binance on October 2. This move is notable, given Tate's history of leveraged trading, which has seen him lose over $727,000 in November 2025. However, his HYPE holdings have profited by a staggering 1,317%, with a total profit of $7.24 million. Tate initially bought 122,826.9 HYPE on November 29, 2024, at an average price of $4.48, for a total of $549,968. Within 48 hours, he sold 41,430 HYPE at an average price of $7.25, taking back more than half the cost.
The HYPE token has seen a significant price increase, trading near $88, roughly 20 times its entry price. Tate's wallet still holds 42,417 HYPE, valued at approximately $3.7 million at Saturday's price. This move comes as a contrast to Tate's previous experiences with leveraged trading, which have seen him liquidated at least 107 times on Hyperliquid perps.
