The tech giants Google and Apple are strengthening their presence in the digital payment space by hiring experts in blockchain technology.

A recent job posting on Google's website reveals that they are seeking a Web3 architect to lead the development of tokenization strategies for real-world assets in the Asia-Pacific region.

The successful candidate will work with foundations, exchanges, custodians, and financial institutions to develop tokenization solutions using blockchain technology.

This is a strategic role that requires experience with blockchain networks, smart contracts, stablecoin infrastructure, tokenized securities, and custody technologies.

Meanwhile, Apple has also posted a job opening for an Apple Pay Financial Product Strategy Lead in either Cupertino or New York.

The position will focus on evaluating new products, partnerships, and business models related to digital wallets, payments, and commerce.
