Telcoin's Regulatory Hype Fails to Lift Token from Bear Market
Telcoin has made significant strides in the crypto space, achieving regulatory milestones that few projects have matched. In under a year, it secured a digital-asset bank charter in Nebraska, launched its eUSD stablecoin, and linked US bank accounts directly to the token.
The project's regulated stablecoin is aligned with the US GENIUS Act, which requires 1:1 reserves and regular audits. Telcoin has positioned itself for Europe's MiCA framework, a regulatory body that governs fiat-referenced tokens.
Despite these achievements, the TEL token has fallen sharply, trading at around $0.00177 as of September 4, 2026. This is roughly 97% below its all-time high of $0.0649.
