Share

Apple's App Store briefly removed Telegram due to content that violated its child sexual abuse material policies, but the messaging platform was restored after removing the offending content and banning the responsible user.

The incident weighed on crypto markets tied to Telegram's ecosystem, with Gram falling about 6.4% from $1.41 to $1.32 before rebounding to around $1.40.

Telegram acknowledged the incident with a post on X that read 'Reports of my demise are greatly exaggerated,' accompanied by an apple emoji.
