TeraWulf Stock Surges as AI Power Deals Unlock Multi-Billion Dollar Potential
TeraWulf Inc., trading under the ticker WULF, has seen its stock rise by 4.65% as investors react positively to the company's latest Bitcoin mining expansion and shift into an AI power provider.
The significant jump in value comes after Kentucky regulators cleared up to 482 MW of power for a massive Justified Data Campus, paving the way for a potential $4.0-$4.5B AI/HPC build-out for WULF.
TeraWulf is also leveraging its unique power footprint at a repurposed aluminum smelter, where it signed a 20-year lease with Anthropic for roughly 401 MW. This agreement represents about $19B in contracted revenue, turning WULF into a long-duration cash-flow story and driving a major rerating in the stock.
Analysts have been taking note of this transformation, with William Blair initiating TeraWulf with an Outperform rating and a $31 base-case fair value. Morgan Stanley still sees the name as part of an emerging 'powered shell' infrastructure class and keeps an Overweight rating.
