Tether and Fasanara Capital Unveil StableFund with $3 Billion Target
Tether and Fasanara Capital have joined forces to launch StableFund, a private credit fund that aims to raise $3 billion from institutional investors. The $400 million initiative will focus on short-duration, asset-backed lending to businesses and consumers through fintech platforms in over 60 countries.
The evergreen fund will use Tether's USDT as settlement infrastructure for the lending process. Fasanara Capital will manage the investments, while Tether will source USDT-linked financing opportunities and provide the infrastructure for moving funds on- and off-chain.
Fasanara Capital has over $6 billion under management, and it plans to deploy the capital through its network of fintech lenders. The fund will target small and medium-sized businesses and consumer lending, including trade receivables and supply chain finance.
