Tether Expands Tokenization Strategy in Saudi Arabia with Real Estate Initiative

Share

Tether is expanding its tokenization strategy with a new initiative in Saudi Arabia. The company has partnered with Hadron, First Data, and BKN301 to bring institutional real estate tokenization to the country. This effort aims to provide blockchain-based access to commercial real estate in Saudi Arabia.

The project will initially focus on real estate but plans to extend its reach to other tangible assets, such as energy projects and infrastructure finance. Tether has been working to improve its tokenization business since launching Hadron in 2024.

Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 economic diversification plan is driving the adoption of blockchain technology in various industries, including finance and logistics. Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, sees Saudi Arabia as a prime market for showcasing how Hadron can tokenize real estate assets for institutions within the Vision 2030 program.
