Tether Releases Audited Financials After KPMG US Review

Share

Tether, the issuer of the world's largest stablecoin, has released audited financial statements for 2025 after an independent audit by KPMG US.

The audit marks a significant move by Tether to reassure markets about its finances following heightened global scrutiny of crypto companies.

Tether's chief financial officer stated that the audited financial statements show the company's reserves exceeded its liabilities by $6.8 billion.

KPMG US confirmed it had issued an unqualified opinion on Tether International, S.A. de C.V.'s financial statements in accordance with AICPA standards for the year ending December 31, 2025.
