Tether Signs Tokenization Deal with Nairobi Securities Exchange
Tether has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Nairobi Securities Exchange to explore blockchain-based market infrastructure and tokenized securities.
The MOU outlines plans to develop blockchain-based market infrastructure, digital asset education, and real-world asset tokenization using Tether's Hadron platform.
Tether said in a statement that it will assess instant settlement mechanisms and the potential use of USDT as a digital settlement layer, subject to Kenyan regulations.
