Tether Takes Control of Twenty One Capital Amid $414M Loss
Twenty One Capital posted a staggering $414 million loss in its Q2 earnings, prompting new CEO to consider expanding beyond Bitcoin.
The acquisition of SoftBank's stake by Tether International has deepened Tether's control over the firm. Following the transaction, SoftBank representatives are no longer involved with Twenty One Capital.
Tether is now proposing a two-stage deal to merge Twenty One Capital with Strike and Elektron Energy in an effort to create the largest publicly traded Bitcoin firm.
