Tether Teams Up with Nairobi Securities Exchange for Digital Asset Education Push
Tether, the company behind the popular stablecoin USDT, has been expanding its presence in various parts of the world. One such move is a partnership with the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) to promote digital-asset education.
This partnership aims to increase awareness and understanding of cryptocurrencies among investors and financial institutions in East Africa. Tether's involvement will help provide educational resources and training programs for stakeholders, ultimately paving the way for greater adoption of digital assets in the region.
It's worth noting that this move follows a trend of increasing interest in stablecoins, particularly USDT, which has seen significant growth in recent quarters. According to Ardoino, Tether registers an increase of over 30 million digital wallets on its network during each quarterly period of 2026.
