Teucrium Commodity Trust Raises Minimum Threshold for Bitcoin and Carbon Credit ETF
The Teucrium Commodity Trust has increased the outstanding shares of its 7RCC Spot Bitcoin and Carbon Credit Futures ETF above the minimum threshold of 50,000 shares. This comes after new creation orders were placed, which allowed the number of outstanding shares to rise.
Previously, the sponsor had been rejecting redemption orders that would have brought the fund's outstanding shares below the 50,000-share minimum. The minimum threshold is equivalent to five baskets of 10,000 shares each.
The sponsor noted in a recent SEC filing that it may again reject redemption orders in the future if the number of outstanding shares returns to the minimum threshold or for other reasons outlined in the fund's prospectus under the section regarding suspension or rejection of redemption orders.
