Lawmakers in Texas are gearing up for their next legislative session, and some advocates have called for stronger protections against cryptocurrency fraud.

AARP has expressed concern about 'cryptocurrency kiosks', which allow users to convert cash into digital currency within minutes.

The AARP's associate state director of advocacy and outreach, Andrea Earl, spoke with KXAN about the issue. Earl emphasized that this is a particular worry for older Texans.
