Thai SEC Seeks Comment on Crypto ETF Draft Regulations
Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has published draft regulations for cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The SEC aims to gather public comments on these proposals, which are part of its efforts to develop a framework for ETFs in the country. According to the draft rules, eligible assets for ETFs would include cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and other digital currencies.
The proposed regulations outline requirements for fund managers, including minimum capitalization and experience standards. Additionally, they specify conditions for the listing of ETFs on Thai stock exchanges. The SEC invites interested parties to submit their comments by a specified deadline.
