THORChain 3.20 Unleashes Native Swaps Between Privacy Coins and Crypto Market

Decentralized exchange THORChain has announced the launch of its latest upgrade, THORChain 3.20, which enables native swaps between Monero (XMR) and Zcash (ZEC) and major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and stablecoins.

The upgrade marks a significant milestone for THORChain, allowing users to exchange these privacy-focused assets directly through its platform without the need for centralized exchanges or custodial services.

Monero holders in particular will benefit from this development, as XMR continues to be removed or restricted by centralised exchanges. THORChain's integration provides a more direct route between privacy coins and the broader crypto market.

The upgrade also introduces Protocol-Owned Liquidity (POL) and the Stable Reserve, which enables stablecoin-to-stablecoin swaps with no liquidity fees.
