THORChain Expands Cross-Chain Swaps with Native Monero, Zcash Support

Decentralized exchange THORChain has launched version 3.20 of its platform, introducing native support for Monero (XMR) and Zcash (ZEC) swaps against Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and stablecoins.

This means users can now directly swap these privacy-focused cryptocurrencies on the THORChain network without relying on centralized exchanges or custodial services.

The upgrade also includes Protocol-Owned Liquidity (POL) and a new Stable Reserve, as well as renewed support for Solana, Base, and BNB.

THORChain's integration of Monero and Zcash provides an alternative to users who have been restricted by centralized exchanges or required to deposit their coins with an exchange.
