THORChain Halts Roadmap Launches Amid Network Stability Concerns
THORChain's developers have put several key roadmap launches on hold as they prioritize network stability following the release of v3.20.
The delayed features include Monero and Zcash support, protocol-owned liquidity deployment, and SwapKit revenue sharing. These launches are being pushed back for an initial one-to-two-week review to ensure the network can operate reliably before more features go live.
According to THORChain, recent instability was caused by app-layer calls hitting non-deterministic API endpoints, which could alter gas consumption and compromise consensus. A temporary app-layer pause is still technically possible but has not been implemented yet.
The delay reshuffles several closely watched launches, with churns expected to resume during the stability period but new chains not being a near-term focus.
