TMTG's Bitcoin Holdings Under Scrutiny

The recent transfer of 2,628 BTC from Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) to Crypto.com has raised questions about whether the company is selling its cryptocurrency assets. However, TMTG denies that the transfer was a sale, stating it is part of their strategy.

According to on-chain analysts, TMTG's portfolio shrunk from 11,542 BTC to 4,261 BTC over seven months. The company initially announced plans to create a Bitcoin reserve worth $2.5 billion in May 2025, with the funds raised through stock and bond offerings.

TMTG's representative claims that transferring Bitcoin to centralized exchanges is part of their strategy, but the actual purpose remains unclear. With TMTG controlling 4,261 BTC at the time of writing, it is uncertain whether they have any liquid crypto assets left.
