Tokenized Fund Market Expands Beyond Ethereum's Dominance
The tokenized fund market has grown to approximately $34.7 billion in total value, with Ethereum leading the way at $17.7 billion or 51.2% of the market. BNB Chain follows closely behind at $4.8 billion or 13.9%, while zkSync Era accounts for $3.2 billion at 9.2%. These three chains capture about 74% of the total tokenized fund value, leaving a significant portion on other platforms.
The remaining 27%, approximately $9 billion, is distributed across a range of alternative chains, including Stellar, Solana, Avalanche, and Injective. Stellar holds $2.2 billion in tokenized funds, likely due to its low transaction costs and payment capabilities. Solana's high throughput and low fees have also attracted significant interest, with $1.9 billion invested in the platform.
Avalanche's subnet architecture has allowed institutions to deploy customized environments while maintaining interoperability with the broader network, contributing to its $1.5 billion stake. Injective's $1.1 billion reflects its native order-book infrastructure and cross-chain capabilities that appeal to derivatives and fund products.
