Tokenized Stocks Gain Traction in Compliant AMM Trading

Superstate has pushed for the integration of tokenized stocks into compliant Automated Market Maker (AMM) trading, with Uniswap's technical readiness and Superstate's compliance design central to this effort. The available information supports this push, but does not confirm a rollout of named stock pools.

Uniswap has stated that the relevant functionality would rely on its v4 Permissioned Pools, which can limit swaps and liquidity actions to approved wallets rather than opening trading to all users. This approach is designed to let issuers keep wallet allowlists and transfer restrictions inside the pool.

The significance of this development lies in whether it enables securities issuers to use AMMs without sacrificing compliance controls. If successful, tokenized equities could gain a secondary trading venue native to crypto infrastructure rather than relying on closed, off-chain systems.
