TON Bridge Shutdown Imminent: Bring Wrapped Tokens Back by September 1

The TON Bridge is shutting down on September 1, 2026, and holders of Wrapped TON (TONCOIN) on Ethereum or BNB Smart Chain must bring their tokens back to the TON network by this date.

This means that any balance still sitting in wrapped form after September 1 will no longer be able to be unwound using the bridge. The same applies to j-tokens, such as jUSDT and jUSDC, which were brought over to TON from Ethereum.

The shutdown affects only the cross-chain bridge at bridge-v3.ton.org, which connects Toncoin with Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain. Native Toncoin in a TON wallet is not affected.
