Tonkeeper Rebrands to Keeper, Enters Multichain Wallet Market with Six New Blockchains

Tonkeeper, the self-custodial wallet with over 77 million registered users in the TON ecosystem, has rebranded to Keeper and expanded its support to six additional blockchains: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum, and Base. The move transforms Tonkeeper into a multichain wallet competing directly with established players like MetaMask.

The rebrand follows a management transition in which The Open Platform took over operational leadership from co-founders Oleg Andreev and Oleg Illarionov, who remain shareholders. Keeper retains its Battery feature for gasless transactions and plans to add cross-chain swaps, DeFi products, spending tools, a DApp browser, a loyalty program, and perpetual futures trading over the coming year.

The expansion reflects a broader multichain shift among TON ecosystem projects, including MyTonWallet's rebrand to My Wallet in June and STON.fi's launch of cross-chain swaps in July. Andrew Rogozov, founder and CEO of The Open Platform, said Keeper is 'the next chapter: taking the simplicity we're known for beyond TON and into the broader crypto economy.'

User behavior drove the decision to rebrand from Tonkeeper to Keeper, according to its chief marketing officer Nikita Monastyrskiy. He stated that users were managing multiple blockchains through separate apps, prompting the shift to a single app for multichain needs.
