Traditional Finance Stocks Gain Attention Amid Crypto Regulation Uncertainty
Crypto regulation has taken another hit in Washington as the Clarity Act stalled. This unexpected turn of events is pushing traders to reevaluate traditional finance stocks that appear more stable amidst regulatory uncertainty.
One such stock gaining attention is Bitgo Holdings (BTGO), a digital asset infrastructure provider for institutions. With a market value of around $926.3 million, it offers security software and services generating approximately $20.1 billion in revenue. However, regulatory frameworks may slow the growth of subscriptions, services, and custody-related revenue due to follow-on rulemaking, state-level frictions, and client compliance buildouts.
Coinbase Global (COIN) is also worth watching as it sits at the intersection of traditional exchanges and crypto trading. The company is positioned to benefit from tokenization, expanding its addressable market and enabling increased trading/revenue streams. Its model could either accelerate or stall based on future fee levels and product mix.
Bullish (BLSH), a crypto-focused market infrastructure group, offers listed exposure to digital assets and tokenized markets. With a market value near $5.7 billion, it generated around $301 million from services in 2026. The appeal lies in the potential bridge between traditional exchange infrastructure and crypto demand, which could impact pricing power if regulatory levers move in its favor.
