Traditional Stocks Outshine Bitcoin in Six-Year Performance
The volatile crypto market has led some investors to look beyond digital assets for safer alternatives. A study by Taurex found that traditional stocks and metals have outperformed Bitcoin since 2020, with many companies more than tripling in value over the past six years.
Google's stock price soared from $87.63 in 2020 to $342.37 in 2026, a gain of 290.7%. BAE Systems' shares also performed strongly, increasing by 238.4% from $672.8 to $2,277 over the same period.
Gold prices rose by 151%, from $1,769 to $4,442, while tech giants Apple and Microsoft saw their stock prices increase by 132.1% and 127.8%, respectively.
Kratos Defence and RTX also performed well, with a gain of 123.7% and 123.4%, respectively. Meta and General Dynamics shares increased by 112.1% and 107.4%, while Aero Vironment's stock price rose by 94.2%.
