Tread.fi Brings Algorithmic Trading to Digital-Asset Markets with Execution Terminal
Tread.fi is an algorithmic execution terminal and order-execution-management-system (OEMS) for digital-asset markets. It allows traders to route, automate, monitor, and analyze orders across centralized exchanges, perpetual DEXs, and on-chain swap venues from a single interface.
The protocol's competitive angle is its execution infrastructure, which includes smart order routing, TWAP/VWAP-style algorithms, transaction-cost analysis, market-making bots, funding-rate arbitrage tooling, REST/WebSocket access, and optional self-deployment for users who don't want a platform operator to see their flow.
Tread.fi was founded in 2022 by David Jeong, Weishuai Yang, and Yibo Duan. The project has raised $3.5 million in funding from investors such as New Form Capital, Aquanow, Varys Capital, GBV Capital, Thanefield Capital, and others.
The TREAD token is an Ethereum-based ERC-20 contract, and its utility is access- and coordination-oriented rather than base-layer gas. The token can be used for tiered fee discounts, creation and activation of trading agents, security deposits for exchange-venue integrations, retail market-making campaigns, and off-chain advisory governance voting over ecosystem parameters.
