Treasury Yields Hit 22-Year High, Weighing on Bitcoin Price
Bitcoin's price fell by 2.8% to $83,443 as Treasury yields and the US dollar rose higher.
The 30-year yield on U.S. Treasuries reached a 22-year high of 5.444%, according to Tradeweb data.
This move is seen as bearish for Bitcoin, with rising real yields and a stronger DXY index typically leading to downward pressure on the cryptocurrency's price.
Despite this, U.S. spot ETFs attracted $452 million in combined inflows on September 23, with BlackRock's IBIT leading the way with $166 million.
