Treasury Yields Retreat, Cryptocurrency Market Surges with Bitcoin Reaching New Heights
The cryptocurrency market saw gains across several major assets on Thursday as Treasury yields retreated from a 24-year high. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP led the charge, with prices rising by 1.40%, 0.90%, and 0.40% respectively.
Mihael van de Poppe, a well-known cryptocurrency analyst, hailed this development as a sign that Bitcoin is 'finally breaking upwards'. He noted that if this trend holds, it could lead to increased momentum in the altcoin markets.
The major US stock indices also rebounded from earlier losses, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 rising by 0.04% and 0.19% respectively. Meanwhile, the probability of a rate hike has cooled to 24.9%, according to the CME FedWatch tool.
