Thompson claims he owns Bitcoin not because he expects the dollar to collapse but because he believes in its long-term growth. He points out that Bitcoin has appreciated over 60% annually on average across the past 14 years, a feat that even the best savings accounts cannot match.

When teammates ask him about buying Bitcoin during the current market downturn, Thompson's answer is straightforward: 'Buy every day.' He adds that the impending passage of the Clarity Act and the Genius Act will unlock significantly more capital for everything on-chain.
