TRON Beats Bitcoin in Q2 with Record Stablecoin Dominance
TRON quietly outperformed Bitcoin in Q2 2026, bucking broader market weakness. While Bitcoin fell 4%, TRX rose by 3%. This marks one of the cleanest cases of a major network beating the trend in recent memory.
The numbers behind this outperformance are striking. During Q2, TRON averaged 3.5 million daily active users, up from 3.2 million in Q1. The network processed approximately 11.8 million daily transactions, with 93% of those being peer-to-peer stablecoin transfers.
TRON's stablecoin dominance reached a record high, with USDT supply sitting on the network reaching an all-time high of around $89 billion during Q2. This represents 28.7% of the total stablecoin market cap and 47% of USDT's total supply across all chains.
On the revenue side, TRON collected $89 million in protocol fees for the quarter, placing it second overall behind Hyperliquid.
