TRON DAO Brings Blockchain to Mainstream at Stanford Summit
TRON DAO recently participated in the Blockchain Application Stanford Summit (BASS) as a Premier Support Sponsor. The event, held on July 30 at Stanford University as part of the Science of Blockchain Conference (SBC) 2026, drew over 600 attendees, including researchers, builders, and industry leaders.
The summit explored the latest advances in blockchain applications, AI, and infrastructure. TRON DAO's participation was highlighted through a panel titled 'Global Retail Adoption', which featured Sam Elfarra, Community Spokesperson at TRON DAO, alongside Caio Sousa, Engineering Manager for Digital Assets at Nubank.
The panelists examined how blockchain infrastructure is moving beyond early adopters to support real-world, everyday use at scale. According to Elfarra, 'Retail adoption isn't just about getting people to hold digital assets; it's about making blockchain useful in the transactions they make every day.'
