TRON DAO Educates Brazilian Authorities on Blockchain Technology at Digital Asset Recovery Forum

TRON DAO recently participated in the Digital Currencies Governance Group (DCGG) and Brazil's National Council of the Public Ministry (CNMP) Digital Asset Recovery Forum, held on August 26-27, 2026, in Brasília, Brazil. The event aimed to educate Brazilian authorities on digital asset recovery through cross-sector cooperation.

The forum brought together over 100 senior participants from regulatory, law-enforcement, prosecutorial, and judicial institutions, including the Central Bank of Brazil, Public Prosecutor's Offices, the Federal Revenue Service, and the National Council of Justice. TRON DAO was represented by Sam Elfarra, Community Spokesperson, and John O. Hurston, General Counsel for TRON.

Elfarra contributed to a session on blockchain infrastructure and transaction transparency, highlighting industry-led initiatives like T3 Financial Crime Unit (T3 FCU). He explained how the transparency of public blockchain networks can help authorities trace transactions and understand digital asset movement.

Hurston spoke on the panel 'Crypto Asset Recovery through Cross-Sector Cooperation,' discussing how public authorities, law-enforcement agencies, and private-sector participants can coordinate efforts to recover digital assets. The forum marked TRON DAO's first engagement with CNMP and established direct institutional relationships with Brazilian authorities.
