TRON Enters Institutional Index as Digital Assets Gain Mainstream Traction
TRON DAO has announced that its blockchain network is now included in the S&P Pantera Digital Asset Index, a benchmark developed by S&P Dow Jones Indices and Pantera Capital. This move marks another step towards the mainstream acceptance of digital assets as an institutional asset class.
The index applies a methodology centered on protocol utility, onchain liquidity, and network activity to evaluate blockchain networks. TRON's inclusion in the index is based on its significant growth and adoption, with over 394 million user accounts and more than $90 billion of USDT supported on the network.
Justin Sun, Founder of TRON, said 'Transparent benchmarks have long served as essential reference points across global financial markets. Applying those same principles to blockchain networks reflects the continued maturation of digital assets as an institutional asset class.'
