TRON Smashes Record with $2.1 Trillion USDT Transfers in Q2
TRON's USDT transfers hit $2.1 trillion in Q2 2026, marking a significant milestone for the network. According to Messari's report, TRON processed this amount during the second quarter of 2026 as its stablecoin market reached a record $89.2 billion.
The network's stablecoin supply ended Q2 at $87.9 billion, making it the largest circulating balance among blockchains. USDT accounted for $87.9 billion, or 98.5% of stablecoins on the network, putting TRON ahead of Ethereum's $78.7 billion USDT balance at quarter end.
TRON's stablecoin footprint continued to expand in Q2, with the network generating $699.4 million in network fees, a 15.9% increase from the previous quarter. This growth in activity lifted fees while TRX supply kept growing, despite circulating supply increasing by about 87 million TRX to 94.85 billion.
U.S. access for TRX widened through exchanges and staking, with Binance.US restoring spot trading, Bitnomial adding regulated U.S. TRX futures in July, and Anchorage Digital opening institutional staking access. Canary Capital's proposed staked TRX product also remains a key development to watch.
