TRON Surpasses Bitcoin and Ethereum as Leading Network for USDT Payments
USDT payments on TRON have surpassed those on Bitcoin and Ethereum on CoinsBee, marking a significant shift in how stablecoins are being used. According to recent figures from CoinsBee, USDT transferred over the TRON network has become the most frequently used on-chain payment combination.
The platform's data shows that USDT on TRON led all other combinations with 64% growth in payment share from 2025. During the 90 days leading up to September 1st of this year, TRON generated 64.5% of CoinsBee's USDT turnover, significantly outperforming Bitcoin and Ethereum.
The average transaction value on TRON was also higher than on other networks, with 44.6% of USDT payments on TRON being larger than those made using the stablecoin on other supported networks. This trend is particularly evident in retail purchases, where USDT on TRON was used for a wide range of brands, including Amazon, Apple, and Walmart.
TRON's growth as a settlement network for USDT has been remarkable, with more than $94 billion of the stablecoin circulating on the platform. This substantial liquidity provides a significant advantage for dollar-denominated blockchain transfers.
