TRON-USDT Dominance: CoinsBee Sees 64% Growth in Stablecoin Adoption
CoinsBee's payment data for the past 90 days shows that USDT on TRON has become its most-used onchain token and network payment option. The data, covering through September 1, 2026, reveals that USDT (TRC-20) generated about 1.8 times more completed payments than Bitcoin and 1.9 times more than Ethereum.
In this period, USDT on TRON represented 16.23% of all CoinsBee payments in 2026 to date, up from 9.92% in 2025, marking a 64% increase in its share of total payment activity. This significant growth suggests that stablecoins are increasingly being used for everyday purchases rather than solely for trading and investing.
The data also shows that TRON has captured a substantial portion of USDT spending on the platform. Between June 4 and September 1, TRC-20 accounted for 44.6% of USDT payments but 64.5% of USDT turnover, indicating that purchases using USDT on TRON had a higher average value than those through other supported networks.
