Trueo Migrates to Ethereum Mainnet with Vitalik's Support
Trueo, a prediction market protocol that launched on Coinbase's network in March 2025, has announced its migration to Ethereum mainnet. The move was met with support from Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, who described Trueo as a promising new competitor focused on decentralization and ethical design.
The team behind Trueo emphasized that the decision is not driven by dissatisfaction with Base, but rather a desire to tap into Ethereum's unmatched network effects, deeper liquidity pools, and broader access to both crypto-native and traditional finance ecosystems.
Existing markets will continue to operate normally on Base, and users are advised not to create new markets set to expire after January 31, 2027. TRUE token holders can migrate to Ethereum without a deadline, as there is no fixed cutoff date for the transition.
