$TRUMP and Melania's Memecoins Plummet Over 95% from All-Time Highs

The memecoins associated with former President Donald Trump and his wife Melania have taken a sharp nosedive in value. $TRUMP, which reached an all-time high of ~$75 per token on January 19, 2025, is now trading for just ~$2. Meanwhile, Melania's memecoin peaked at ~$14 on January 20, 2025, but has plummeted to ~$0.1.

The decline in value can be attributed to a lack of attention from the former First Lady, as well as no gimmicks or giveaways for holders. In contrast, $TRUMP has staged two giveaways so far and another is upcoming, which may have contributed to its relative performance. It's worth noting that Trump's coin has been outperforming his wife's in terms of price appreciation.

The Coin Club, which operates the Donald Trump Coin Club, has come under scrutiny for its practices. The company has hosted private events and offered exclusive experiences to top holders, including a dinner with the president and access to high-profile speakers like Tony Robbins and Mike Tyson. However, it remains unclear if these perks have influenced any policy decisions.
