Trump Buys into Crypto-Adjacent Stocks Amid Fed Rate Hike
The latest Trump news today reveals that the President purchased shares in Coinbase and Strategy over the summer, as both stocks faced significant drops on the charts.
According to a recent disclosure report filed with the Office of Government Ethics, Trump bought $1,001-$15,000 worth of Coinbase shares on July 24, as well as Strategy shares in the same range that day. He then added a larger $50,001-$100,000 Strategy position on July 27.
On July 8, he sold a $1,001-$15,000 Strategy stake. Additionally, on July 29, Trump sold CleanSpark and MARA Holdings shares, each worth $15,001-$50,000.
The White House claims that outside institutions manage the portfolio, stating that neither Trump nor his family can direct trades or time them.
